The Children's House offers Early Care (7:30 to 8:30 a.m.) and Friends Club (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.) daily for enrolled students.
Early Care & Friends Club
Early Care (7:30 to 8:30 a.m.)
Children who are dropped off for Early Care begin their day with peaceful play. In the Nido, babies go directly to their classroom to start the morning. In the Young Children’s Community (YCC), toddlers are welcomed into the designated Early Care classroom until all classrooms have opened, at which time they join their respective classroom communities.
Primary learners who arrive early gather in the Primary Great Hall, where they spend time reading, drawing, playing, and building with a curated selection of engaging materials. Elementary learners begin their day outdoors, with access to the wooded area, playground, tetherball, and GaGa ball.
Friends Club (3:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
In the Nido, Friends Club takes place in the Clover classroom and its outdoor space. In YCC, the three classrooms come together as one group in the YCC Friends Club room, which offers play-based materials, and/or on the playground, weather permitting.
Primary learners begin Friends Club outdoors on the playground, weather permitting, and may also spend time in the Primary Great Hall with access to curated books and materials. Elementary Friends Club is primarily held on the playground, moving indoors as needed due to weather. When indoors, Elementary learners have access to games and Legos.
Snack is provided at all levels for Friends Club.
