Use this checklist to prepare for the first day of school:

• Follow our Back-to-School Orientation Day schedule 

• Complete required forms and update family information in Ravenna (click on "Parents" and then "Forms")

• Prepare with items on our Student Supply List

• Order school lunch, Early Care/Friends Club,  sign up for BATA, through Boonli(opens August 25)

• Read our UPDATED Family Handbook. (Learning how to navigate carline is helpful!)

• Involve yourself in the life of our school community, start here

• Build a habit of reading Waypoints, our weekly newsletter. (It is updated every Friday afternoon.)

• Sync our Calendar with your personal Google Calendar

• Follow us on Facebook and Instagram and join our Facebook Community Page to share ideas, swap/sell items, and connect with other families

• Learn about MindUP, our new social and emotional learning program to help students better engage in learning, learn to self-regulate their behavior, and improve their attention skills and well-being.

• New! Elementary French: we are excited to welcome Virginie Kanner as our French Language Specialist! She will be introducing French language, geography, and culture to our 1st through 6th-year learners. 

• New! Theater Intensive, January 6 - 23! Drama Club meets Theater Week in this new immersive curricular program that will engage all Elementary students and result in a performance for families. Junior High students will participate in a collaborative theater intensive with local theater professionals. 

For Nido, YCC, or Primary families: 

• Complete the Health Appraisal Form with your child's doctor and upload to Ravenna

• If your child is new to our school or moving up to a new classroom, your child’s guide will call to schedule a home and a classroom visit
